The cooperative society of boatmen was founded in 1971 by 6 sailors in the legal form of a scoop in SARL. In 2011, the cooperative took over mooring activity at the port of Roscoff, and in 2021 that of the Port of Concarneau. The main activity consists of the mooring and unmooring of ships calling at the ports of Brest, Roscoff, and Concarneau. The mooring company is made up of 25 mooring operators, all professional sailors with the necessary certificates to operate nautical means.
